Black Wall Street: Then and Now

For the 100-year commemoration of the Tulsa Race Massacre, I selected archival images and then commissioned present-day photographs of those same locations in the city’s Greenwood district. All of the images were then woven together into a photoessay including the words of survivors, and contemporary community members whom I interviewed.
